Netherwood Farm

Situated on a hilltop overlooking idyllic farmlands across Nottingham Road, Kamberg and beyond to the iconic Drakensberg mountains. A contemporary country experience in the heart of the Midlands Meander.

A Working Farm

The hill, and everything on it

Netherwood is, first and last, a farm. Pedigree Angus on the high pastures, Ankole in the valley, ostriches that look up when you walk past, alpacas drifting across the slope at sunset. Behind every wedding, every long lunch, every visit, there is a working farm getting on with its day.

Cattle Heritage

Pedigree Angus, raised on the hill

Netherwood is a working farm with a proud cattle heritage. Our Angus and Ankole herds graze across the rolling Midlands pastures, contributing to the authentic farm experience that defines netherwood.

Once a year, Rob hosts the annual Angus sale at the Bull Ring on the farm. Buyers, breeders and neighbours gather for a day of pedigree cattle and quiet ceremony.

Plan Your Visit

A few notes for visitors

Stop in at the cafe for a long lunch, walk the farm trails, settle in at the Brewery for sundowners. The farm is open to visitors all week, with weddings and private events held on the grounds at the chapel and the Bull Ring.

Netherwood is a working livestock farm and we follow strict biosecurity protocols to protect our herds. If you're planning a visit and have recently been around other livestock, please get in touch and we'll talk you through the visitor guidelines.
